PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Choose processing capacity for the analytics you actually need.
An analytics-capable recorder or server can centralize supported video processing and event review. STARK helps source smart NVRs, edge appliances and server configurations for a defined camera and analytics application.
Camera channels, resolution, frame rates and selected AI functions affect the compute requirement. A recorder’s ordinary recording channel count may differ from its supported analytics channel count, so both need to be checked.
We review software licensing, camera streams, storage, network bandwidth and VMS interfaces as one system. GPU or accelerator support depends on the application. Hardware sizing and compatibility are confirmed before supply and commissioning.
What to consider
- Smart recording or dedicated analytics architecture options
- AI channel and application capacity planning
- Verified camera stream and software compatibility
- Supported event search and operator review workflows
- Storage, network and license coordination
Selection guidance
- AI capacity
- Check supported functions, channel count, stream detail and frame rate
- Hardware
- Verify CPU/GPU/accelerator requirements for the selected application
- Software
- Confirm licenses, VMS integration and update support
- Recording
- Size storage and bandwidth separately from analytics compute
USEFUL ANSWERS
Common questions
Will any graphics card run the analytics software?
No. The application’s supported hardware, drivers and capacity requirements must be checked.
Can an existing NVR run the requested AI rules?
Only if its model, firmware and licenses support those rules. A separate compatible analytics appliance may be an alternative.
Are recording channels and AI channels always equal?
No. Analytics capacity may have separate limits, depending on function and video stream conditions.
